Today I called Opthamology to find out what was going on with scheduling his appt. They said that they gave his consult to the head neuro person in their dept. and he decided that AJ did need to see that one specific Dr. that is on leave till 07Sep. She said that they will have to wait till he returns to ask him when they can fit AJ into his schedule. Then about an hour or so later the same lady that called me the other day said that she had recieved permission by another Dr. to add AJ to that Dr's Tuesday schedule since it was an emergent consult that was put in 2 weeks ago. So that is finally scheduled for 07Sep04 at 1320.
-Then within a couple minutes Pulmonary called about scheduling the sleep study. She said that the earliest date they had was the night of 15Sep04. So he is scheduled for that night. He will have all kinds of wires and stuff hooked up to him and we will be there from 7pm till 0730 the next morning.
-SO both tests are scheduled
-I talked to his new pediatrician and she is calling the Dr that did her son's decompression surgery in Philli to find out the reputation of the Chiari instatute in NY....but if so many people on the website have gone there and so many have had positive experiences....I am interested to see what this Dr might say.
